Hey guys, thanks for the add. Just picked up a 1985 14,000 mile Max for $1k that was parked 15 years ago due to the fan switch issue. Bone stock from the original owner. Everything is there but needs a lot of elbow grease and full maintenance. Looking forward to getting this bike back up to snuff with advice from this forum and decide whether to keep it stock or mod it.

Thanks, I was afraid to call it purple. Didn't want to get scolded for not calling it by its official color name.

Others and I have posted the official color names by Yamaha along with the color code initials. They are on here if you want to do a search in the upper right hand corner.
