A week ago I was out for lunch on my Max and pulled into a parking spot. At the same time one of those Ford HD pickups pulled into the spot in front of me.
The guy got out and was a typical stereotypical HD owner... tats, bald, a BIG burly guy (I'm 5'4") and walked right at me and as I pulled my helmet off he said with a BIG grin: "Nice bike! The Max is the only other bike in the World I'd own besides my x model HD" (irrelevant model to me so I did not note it)
And went on, "It's nice to see a Max on the road, See ya"
Every HD owner I've met respects machinery, once the bike gets a name they know the ones to pay attention to. My Max and Magna both get respect. Not that I give a rats ass, but it's nice to know that sneers go in other directions most times.
