Hey Todd, I bought a small vinyl cutter for creating masks for painting. I have cut decals in the past for a car audio club out of Detroit, a few other guys, friends and stuff. It isn't something I want to do as a business, but if you want to work out a trade or some sort of deal I'd be more than happy to do that.

OK, getting to thinking about this a bit more seriously. Do you have a list of who all has committed? Maybe edit your first post and use that to keep track. Got to ask around and see if anyone wants to go with me to help drive. I'll bring my Vmax and the Suzuki. Might toss in the big tire vmax but no real reason unless I am leaving it off for someone lol. Got the drag Fazer I could maybe get running again and bring it too.

Looks like from the math based on historical weather conditions my Suzuki should run 8.80's and the Vmax should run 11.10's-11.20's

Just FYI, the long range forecast looks like mid 60s and cloudy for Sat. 5 mph winds. Having lived in Lapeer for 35 years, I would guess it will be a tail wind at this time of year. If you guys can get your bikes to hook up, we MAY see some personal bests!

Of course this is Michigan so the forecast will change about 100 times before we get there.

I'm going to invite the guy I met at Bikes on the Bricks a couple weekends ago. He has a '95 that is pretty modded with flat slide carbs, 4 into 1 UFO exhaust, custom made wheels and a bunch of other goodies. He has never had it on a drag strip but believes he could run 10's with it. Nice guy, he'd fit right in.

So it still looks like 9. I will call steve aka magnadude and give his arm a twist. I cant beleave Rob aka Slobman isent all over this race. If i had that bike i would for sure be in on this. His bike is built for this. I sure would like to see the ***** go.

Sucks we have a commitment. I barely get the 8's with the dragbike at our elevation and it would be super easy at that track. Was even thinking of bringing my lightweight buddy and we think it may have had an 8.50 in it.

Anyone ever consider renting a track for private use? We can do it here but with our elevation it's just not going to give the best times.

That was my though prior to this. But I just didn't want to rent it and foot the bill and have 5 people show up.

If I rent the track, I ll make it a bigger event and end up inviting my diesel and muscle car buddies to it.

I am not sure how much to rent Lapeer, but I am sure its not a heck of alot. Its not a national track or anything.

Todd and i got 30 laps on test and tune day why rent the track. I know its not the best track but its not near as bad as people say it is. I wouldent run if i thougt i was in danger.

If you can get that many runs in that's good. I think a private track day is in the $1000-$1500 range here but includes the safety crew and people to run the event.
