Open face and half helmets

I have one of these and HATE it! Original, basic Skid Lid brand.

The faster I go the more it tries to choke me. It raises off of my head around 70 mph+ and the chin strap in effect, strangles me. POS!

Anyone have experience with a half helmet, or open face, that doesn't do this??

I see bike bandit has a Bell "Drifter"half helmet on sale. Anyone own one and opinions???

I have an old Shoie that doesn't seem to lift up very much. It has a small dark tint visor that may help the lifting issue. :confused2:

I like the looks of the Bell Drifter....can't go wrong for $50!!

I only wear Snell Full-faced.

I've had an accident with a car & the area at my chin was REALLY messed up on the helmet. That's all I'll wear myself & I've never had a problem with air trying to rip it off even at speeds of...uhm...that wasn't me, nevermind.:whistlin:

My Full face tries to do this just every now and then depending on the wind .
I just pull over and tighten it up and prob solved .
