It's been awhile since I had to do any scrapping but i'm not one to back down regardless of the size of the opponent.

I was all prepared to have this situation when I went to the UFO shootout but changed my mind when I got to the track when I saw him. I figured someone would think i was beating up on a 12 year old girl lol. Long haired hippy not much bigger then my daughter. We did manage to get along for the event which was good for all involved. Keep it professional.

But, not sure what the next time might bring though.

My thoughts as well. He just keeps digging his hole deeper and deeper and for those of us who remained neutral despite the many negative comments about Jon on here, its quite apparant what an ass he really is.

How is it different having Tim reflash a ECU with his setup vs someone buying a power commander and re-flashing thier sportbike? If it was illegal as you suggest the power commander or UFO's reflashing unit (max tuner, which conveniently is now no longer on the website), would not be on the market. So now you can say that the "great one's" stealth product for the genII, that removed some IM parts for the bike wont void a warranty?

When I got my extended warranty from a dealer out of Co, he told me that as long as I didn't do anything to the internals, boring, pistons, valves..., he believed the warranty would not be affected. Dealers may vary. I'm guessing. My thoughts... I'd keep all my stock parts and put them back on before running the bike in for something serious. With the economy, I'd guess the dealers would want the business, even if the bucks came from Yamahaha.
Personally, I like the quietness. Saved me a lot of attention. On one occasion, Markie can back that up. His exhaust covered mine, fortunately. glad the two militia men were engrossed in a conversation. I just want another 10-15 horse and torque, max.

I was in the midst of this when this subject started up on the other net about a certain vendor. I had been communicating with him about getting the exhaust and electronic set up. Out of no where, my calls and emails stopped being answered. Shortly after, started seeing similar complaints pop up. Only diff was, they had money invested already. The Almighty had my back on this one. Don't know what happened in each individual case. I know some people were torqued over the quality.
Shortly after, I got a call from a body over in Ks wanting to know what I thought of my '09. Was thinking of getting one. When I mentioned what was going on with this vendor, turns out he already had a run in years ago. Seems he bought an exhaust system for his Max and never received anything. When he called, it was denied at first that he sent any bucks. It was finally returned after multiple communications, minus the restock fee. After more calls and threats, all was returned. I'm staying away from doing business with this cat, myself.

I read some of the comments and what I think it was about. That's why I seldom get on there anymore. If you state some things, even the absolute truth, someone may be offended. A bit too touchy feely at times. Some who started up on there are gone now anyway. FX has been good to me though. He's helped me on some Max issues. There are some good folks on there. Some aren't. I remember a couple three individuals slam'n this site. It was V Max Nazis, if I recall correctly. And yes, I do. I butted in and started asking questions, who, what, mentioning I know some here. They shut up. Seems there, about all one can talk about is the bike.
