I like reading about 1/4's 'Busa, your scooter, and I'm pissed that Buster doesn't talk about his DRZ more. :biglaugh: If you think it's bad now, hearing about a bike you might not have, just wait until the new Max comes out. The only thing it will share with the current VMax is the name, and when someone farts riding theirs, we'll hear about it. Thank goodness. I'm looking forward to the stories.

Yes, I have dumped the clutch and got up on the faux to roll a 5 mph burnout. It is brake control I admit. On my last tire near the end of its life I was trying to do a donut with my feet on the pegs with the front brake, now thats a challenge on a VMAX!! I have seen the squids do it on there tupperware bike but have never seen it done on a legacy VMAX. The 09 VMAX there is one video with him doing a half donut feet on the pegs.
Do a launch burn out is a different skill, basically its keeping the bike straight thats why I posted in the last sentance.

But in all honesty burn outs with the brake light on doesnt really all impress me

No that was with brake control. You said anyone can do a standing burnout.

I say not like I do. Ever tried to shift up to fifth during your burnout (manually)?

Ever tried sitting on the bike and riding it while during a burnout and controlling the brake to keep your speed under 5mph. It's not all that easy.

I'm not sure what the longest burnout from a standing start is. Never bothered to measure. I think I have a video somewhere showing a pretty long one. I need to get off my tail and get that stuff.

Here's the fun we had in Daytona back in 2002. Note there are a few that run off into the distance. We couldn't keep into it for obvious reasons but I would bet even with those limitations we are coming close to the longest burnout.

Between Kevin and I, we went through 5 tires that weekend.
