Every time I watch these guys, I think to myself these are the craziest riders out there.
160+ on a 1.5 lane wide country road!
The sidecar stuff is even crazier!

Much respect for these riders who race 226 miles in 6 laps at speeds I have never been at let alone to be racing bar to bar!:worthy:
Breathtaking to watch for sure! It is a bucket list item to do which would dovetail nicely in with a visit to the Highlands of Scotland. To do the trip on a motorcycle would unforgettable!

I cant get enough of the TT footage. Raw footage without added music or over-editing. It's amazing indeed what these maniacs do. So as far as pucker factor, I think this should be looked at in normal perspective.

A. Pucker factor in that situation for me would be a solid 10, even had I saved it there would have been a yellow flag for the crew to go deal with the slick of piss and **** I would have left there over that crest.

B. This guy, was it a 10 for him? or maybe an 8-ish? No doubt it got his attention but he's already competing in the TT so he's probably already partially clinically insane. Maybe there is some desensitization that goes with WOT 6th gear down a cordoned off city street thing to consider.

Either way I'm glad he saved it, no race in history has provided us with so much sobering astonishing footage.

Its hard to imagine what its like.

I have raced a KTM super moto here on street circuits. One of them is called the Cemetery Circuit! It runs through a cemetery in part of the track.

Paeroa is the other one.

Thats not nearly as fast as the TT and the roads are a bit wider but that racing will still bite ya if you get it wrong. There has been a few deaths over the years. The run off is rather limited.

I have huge respect for the TT guys and the North West 200 etc.
