So sorry to hear about the wreck. Good thing you had riding gear on. Broken bones are bad enough, but major skin grafts and/or brain damage would be much much worse. Witnessed that this past summer. Hang in there Bro.

Glad to hear you both made it out of this "mostly" OK.

I know the whole thing sucks right now but try to look at it in perpective of how big a deal it will still be down the road; hopefully just memories, experience and maybe a limp:biglaugh:

Quick update

Well my ex girl friend is doing very well. Better than expected. No we did not break up because of this. If I can give out any advice...Blood is thicker than water. Dont ever chew your GF family out for not taking care of her, especially in front of her. Not good. Live and learn:bang head:

I actually got the chance to go check on her today. I almost forgot just how beautiful and strong she really is.

Went to take pics of the bike. Will post soon. All in all I thought it would have been much worse. The forks completely snapped from going under the on coming car. Frame on the right side severed, yep severed, not just broke but it looked like someone put hydraulics on it and cut it through. Pretty cool looking. Total loss. Salvage yard has it now.

Physically I am doing fine. Still beating myself up for hurting my girl and acting like a jack ass after.

I have a follow up with my surgeon tomorrow. Will take some photos of the staples and post.

Thanks to everyone for your support through this whole thing.

Carol wanted me to say thank you to everyone who sent her well wishes. She said she will email you all back sooner or later. I told her not to worry and I would pass on her appreciation.

If anyone wants to send her flowers PM me for my address and I will take them to her. My work sent her some and I sent her a traditional Hawaiian tea Lei for health. She is from Hawaii =)

Glad you two are healing up. nahh, I wouldn't be so quick to use "EX". this is major stress happening right now, it will get better as the healing progresses.

Sound like from the shape of the bike, you definately had someone lookin out for you.
