So, I just installed a raptor shift light, worked great, everything seemed setup properly, then I did some other work, went in for the night. Later that week, it rained. You know where this is going, right? So, came out last night, fired the bike up just to see how it was running since I just synced the carbs, shift light doesn't cycle. I'm hoping when it dries out all will be well again, but any ideas on a long term fix?

On the opening I used AC alum foil tape that's used to seal the joint on duct work. Just cut a little piece & covered it. Its the same color, have not had any trouble 3 yrs with, but my bike doesn't see any rain either.

Get the marine-grade which has sealant in it to make the connection covered more-H2O-resistant. :eusa_dance:

That's a good idea! It came with a piece that slides over the top, I thought that would be enough, but it would appear not. I think the heat shrink tubing is a great idea though. I'll try that.
