Rear Rotor is a Little Blue

My rear brake was hanging up a bit last season I guess. It wasn't enough drag to notice while rolling but enough to blue-up the rotor a bit (and it screached for the last few feet stopping)

I've since overhauled the caliper. Doing a search on here brought up suggestions of washing the rotor with dish soap. Should I do this and maybe the bluing will go away with use?? Or should I use something with a litle grit??

Mike, I like red scotchbrite then the wash, if mine are really bad. You must have had a piston sticking last yr.

Yeah, know doubt a stuck piston. It was a little nasty in there. S/B good to go now.

Scotchbrite, sandpaper, or glass bead. Then wash with soap n water
