While attempting to replace the rear wheel bearings during the restoration of my 1997
I probably found the main source of my low speed cornering jerking.
My hub clutch (#9 from diagram here below) does not have a pretty smile... Its teeth are not great at all. 😨

As you can see, half of the teeth are gone! :eek: And the surfaces are all wavy.
Here are the ring gear matching teeth. I think they are in much better shape, though not perfect.

Question?
I will definitely be replacing the Hub Clutch, but should I replace the Ring Gear as well? By the way, the ring gear does not seem to be listed as a part that can be ordered separately... 🤔
