Top 10 Reasons Sportbikers Don't Wave Back:

10. They have not been riding long enough to know they're supposed to.
9. They're going too fast to have time enough to register the movement and respond.
8. You weren't wearing bright enough gear.
7. If they stick their arm out going that fast they'll rip it out of the socket.
6. They're too occupied with trying to get rid of their chicken strips.
5. They look way too cool with both hands on the bars or they don't want to unbalance themselves while standing on the tank.
4. Their skin tight-kevlar- ballistic- nylon-kangaroo- leather suits prevent any position other than fetal.
3. Raising an arm allows bugs into the armholes of their tank tops.
2. It's too hard to do one-handed stoppies.
1. They were too busy slipping their thongs back on.

Here's what I think the "actual" top 10 reasons are, in rough order of how often I think it's the case.

1. They just didn't see you
2. Their left hand was busy working the clutch
3. They're manuvering through traffic and don't think it's a great idea to take a hand off the bars.
4. They're hauling ass around a corner, see #3.
5. They're over 50 and think the wave is some new trend and thus don't want to have any part of it. (I've noticed older people virtually never wave back)
6. They're on a Harley, wearing the trademark "**** everything" scowl, and waving would totally mess up their image.
7. They're on a Goldwing/Bimmer with enormous fairings and you wouldn't see it anyway.
8. They're on a Spyder. Nobody on a Spyder has ever waved back.
9. They're on a Harley, start to wave, but as soon as you get closer and they realize you're not on a 50 year old bike, do the "wave retract" and usually give you the "**** everything" scowl instead.
10. They're on a trike, no helmet, and talking on the cell phone with the bike on cruise. (seen it happen). I suppose it's possible with a car-sized windshield.

Top 10 for Vmax riders..
1. V-boost just kicked in
2. Too busy drag racing something
3. Might get a tank slapper
4. Too busy doing rolling burnouts to notice
5. Too busy shitting pants from a wobble in the corner
6. Too busy shitting pants from a wobble in the straights
7. Can't afford to let go of the horn button, they're letting women drive these days
8. Bike is being pushed via handlebars after running out of gas. Again.
9. Hand is needed to pop the clutch as you waddle it forward because it won't crank when hot.
10. Hand is too busy "pullin the pud" because you're riding one sexy bike.

NEED BOTH HANDS DOING 2ND GEAR ROLLING BURN OUT:punk: SOMETIMES TAKES TWO LANES WHITE LINE TO WHITE LINE JUST DON'T HAVE THE BALLS TO WAVE.:confused2:
