Hello,
Does anybody know of a nice custom clutch cover with a see through screen for the 2nd Gen V-Max?
I would be interested in getting one, but the ones that the V-Max specialist's offer are not really blending in at the bike, but stick out like a soar thumb, since they are all featuring a billet aluminum surface. -To loud as far as I'm concerned.
Maybe somebody knows of a good source, if not I have to start thinking of making one myself ?.

We have one we are experimenting with. Not sure how long before we will offer it (if we do) or even what it's going to look like.

There seems to be nobody else out there to offer a nice one and the information from Sean sounds pretty vague, so I guess I have to make up my mind how to do this myself. Never the less thank you for your input.

I made set of gen1 clear covers that Sean offers.

If You will give me one cover I can propably convert it with no problem.

Yea, we are still working on the one we have. Wasn't sure what the center holes for the supprt were for so now that I know we can eliminate it we are going to move forward with the project. I'm not sure how large the hole can be at the moment but will be looking at a couple of them this weekend and will get more info then.

I started to make one myself. A conversion made of a stock one seems not really feasible since the design looks very different to the "old" model of Gen1. I am thinking of a billet aluminum version. Besides that Summer is here and I want to ride. Grounding the bike because of a clutch cover is no option.

Theres one guy localy with 2gen vmax and he also wants a clear clutch cover.
He talked to me and I took off his CL cover to see whats in there.

Id say that will no problem at all.

There are already such covers available from OTEC.

You might want to check this link:

Yeah those are great for sure, mastrpiece of machinery and also masterpiece of price.

I checked the link featuring the OTECH clutch covers. Thanks for the information. The complete kit with all billet covers would make sense but just to put on the one billet clutch cover does not really look good. It does not blend in with the rest of the bike.

I got the CNC milling of the cover done; now I am working on making the screen.
As soon as there is more to see I will post some pics.

Really nice you can make such a thing yourself ! I'm curious how it 'll work out.

Finally I finished the clear clutch cover last week. I just need to paint it now with the original color.
Let me know how you like it. The first 500Km are already on the cover.
