Anyone have a suggestion on where I can find a small re-usable container that can hold 2-4 ounces of fuel additives like seafoam or a similar product? :confused2:

Item will need to have a leak proof seal as well; any suggestions appreciated.

I have been using one of the bottles that "5 Hour Energy" comes in.

It holds about 1 tankful of Seafoam and fits right next to the filler neck under the seat.
Hasn't leaked in 2 years.

Hotel shampoo bottles....I've got loads of them lying around. Most of them hold right around an ounce, enough for a tank. None have ever leaked either. One fits on either side of the gas cap under the seat.

Good to have one or two on hand in case you get a load of lousy gas somewhere....it's happened to me a couple times.

Wow.........you guys carry seafoam with you at all times?

LUCAS OIL makes a fuel additive that comes in a skinny longish bottle. I put my Star-Tron in it and it fits in the space where the fuel filler is.

Dry gas sounds similar to HEET.

Yes it is. It's a fuel line anti-freeze but it's the container I was thinking about. There are others....BG Supercharge II & some brake fluids come in basically the same shaped containers also.

Guess I was wrong about the 4 oz size tho. :worthy:

Never heard of this, where do you find this item at?

I think he's talking about the Lucas "fuel system cleaner" or something...it comes in a little skinny cylindrical "concentrate" bottle. Clear bottle, pale oil colored contents. Should find it at any parts store.

can someone tell me what is this SEAFOAM i am keep reading in many threads. i am greek and i canot understand the termyniolgy of this word. please someone give me a hint . some words i dont know. but i can understand the meaning of all the phrase. but when it comes to seafoam i loose the point. sea+foam LOL please tell me

I'm going to have to search for a suitable container for my day trips because most of the local stations (luckily not my regular station) have ethanol and Redbone doesn't like to run smooth with that crap.

Brian: Thank You Redbone, I was beginning to think it was only Strafer that wouldn't run worth crap on Ethanol... I'm going to our Tech Day today and carrying an extra gallon of Non-Ethanol..... That'll insure I can get there and back without a fill up of Alcohol....:biglaugh:

The Lucas container is big enough to hold enough star-tron for a couple of fill-ups and still fit in the fuel fill area. If I need more, I have my tank bag.

If you carry an extra 36 gallons you can fill up my truck:rofl_200:

I have been carrying a full can but sometimes that's a pain to fit everything in my tankbag (rain gear/ gloves/ balaclava/ etc) for the day so I end up with a bag on the rear seat too.
