Good looking bike to me. If I didn't have one or two or three or four , and wanted one , this would be a definite consideration with all the mods he has done. :punk:

Man that's a great bike, only thing I would change is the stage one kit, but I would buy it if I could someone's gonna get a good bike.

I would love to have it, just doesn't fit in my $4500 budget.

Not saying it's not worth it, but at $7500 I would spent the extra $3K or so and get a Gen 2.

As far as a stock bike with a few parts, there really isn't much more to do the bike. Its all done and in my taste. But honestly trying to sell on those parts wont do much for the common joe. But I think he is priced right for all the parts installed. He will own it for awhile longer till someone will pay that much for it, when there are other Vmax's for $4500-5000 that are just as nice, without all the extras he has.

For us in the know, that is a great deal. For the common guy... he won't see the value in those parts.

The BIGGEST advantage I see is he still has the extra original parts.

My advice would be to pull all the aftermarket parts, replace it with all the stock parts and sell it as a complete stock bike. I think that would open the market better for him. Plus he can sell all the aftermarket parts.

Is it worth $7500? If you want those parts installed. But trying to find someone that would want all those specific parts might be hard. I ve always found stock Vmax's sell at a better return to the seller than a modified , if even slightly modified.

Pull the parts, return it to original, put a realistic price of $6000 or best, sell the aftermarket parts and make your $7500 at the end of the day.

Its a beautiful bike that's for sure.

Vmax Mike sent me a link to a Vmax chain drive, 1500 long rod motor with all the do dads on it, 200 rwhp and receipts for everything $8000..... now that is a steal, but again, only for the guy that wants it.

You can tell by looking at it, the guy took immaculate care of it.

Paulibiker you are right too. For a few thousand more, you can have a beautiful gen 2 2009 or 2010.

I see them dropping to $10,500 quite a bit now for local sales.

When the gen 2 hits $8000..... I ll start shopping!

That is a badd ass bike and if it would have been for sale when i bought the B King i would have bought it for $7000 Todd is so right about putting most of it back to stock to sell it.
