I remember reading A Brief History in Time in high school it just blowing my mind. He had such a gift of taking complex ideas and explaining them to simpletons like me. I saw a quote yesterday from someone paying respects to him that I thought was very appropriate:

“Never was a man so bound by the chains of mortality, and yet so determined to transcend them."
