strange misfiring -SOLVED-

But I'm using COPs, not caps/wires.. Anyway, I've handled it a couple more times while running, and it seems to have gone away. I'm wondering if there's something wrong with the actual rubber bit that connects the COP to the heat shield - maybe?
As soon as I get the Jardines on I'll be able to ride again, at which point I'll find out if it's still misfiring or not. I've run some seafoam since too..

that sounds like the same and only problem i have ever had . fuel pump plug in under front of seat (right side ) gets corroded and cuts in and out causing bike to hesitate and jerk ' when fuel supply runs low and then suddenly kicks in at hight revs on highway . cleaned it and bent prongs for tighter fit !!!!!!never happend again
