sync carbs after restoration

So I am almost done with the restoration of my vmax. I've tried to start it but without success (it ran for 4 second on 2 cylinders)
The problem is that when I cleaned the carbs, I've taken out each carbs from the assembly and I totally unsynchronized all of them by rotating the sync screws. What to do now? I can't start to sync them since the engine can't run.

Do a bench synch to get them close. A small drill bit can be used to gauge the opening amount of the throttle butterfly.

Carb Sync Before sync make sure the choke jets are free as the rubber drys and the jet do not retract because the springs are week. Push with your finger to ensure they are seated, add a little grafite grease to free up. If just one jet is out your milage will be cut by 25%. The choke lever should not push the choke jet in as it will damage the jet. There is a choke jet on each carb (5 Max)
