It's definitely tempting. Apparently the first gen had a re-tuned ZX-engine and in stock form put 127-128hp to the tire, with high 70's for torque. I guess that's around a full exhaust/jetted Max, but with 150 fewer pounds.
Garrett, think it'd be possible for you to take a peek at it on my behalf? assuming someone hasn't snatched it up yet? If it looks good I very well may pop on it.
Considering my whole carb teardown didn't do a damn thing for the hesitation my patience with this bike is wearing thin.
edit: got ahold of the seller of the z, still available, clear title, going to go look at it (with cash in hand and a truck) tomorrow.
