Tax payer college for prisoners

So here's how it works in NY. If your a NY resident you pay instate tuition. If you come from a different state It's about 10,000 more. If you come from a foreign country, It's about double the cost of instate.

Heres what makes NY so special. If your here Illegally you get to pay the Instate tuition (cheapest), and with this new proposal, If your in jail you get to go for free.

They make it sound all rosey, but explain that to the thousands of 22 year olds that come out with 50 to 100 thousand dollars in debt with the same degree. And explain it to the Immigrants that did all the work to come here legally, and the illegal ones are treated the same or better. What a slap in the face:damn angry: This is so twisted. In either case your rewarding people for breaking the law.

Or put a slightly different way.....'Get your illegal ass to NY run in a bodega and whack the owner upside the head with a pipe grab a 12 pack some smokes and a handful of slim-jims and party till the gendarmes show up.'

Of course they'll lock you up then all your little illegal rugrats qualify for public assistance you get a nice free college education and when you get out in 3 to 5 yer on your way....another productive member of society!!

Guess this is Blomo's reasoning when he says "We ALL benefit from....." (just plug in whatever self serving program you want....SAFE act, Tax Free NY, etc.)
