TCI name plate ID help

Is the attached picture of a TCI name plate from an 86 (or 85-89) VMax?

I am struggling to get an Ignitech TCI running on an 86 VMax and I know TCI is good, it is the one from my bike that I rode last year, he has sent it back to me to check. I plugged it into my bike and it fired up right away. He has it back again and we are getting nowhere. TCI is powered up, the computer can read from it while it is attached to his bike.

As something to verify, I thought it could have had a motor swap and be a 1 pickup coil, but from # on TCI, I don't think this is case.

The wiring on a 85-89 VMax appears identical to a Venture, and others VMaxs have used this setup.

Also, what is location of side stand relay, so I can have him pull this?

Yes that is the early model tci

Sidestand relay is under the left side of the tci behind the scoop and covers

 

[PATMAX]

Relay- two wire blue and black? I think.
