I'm curious about the rides you've been on lately? Do you have any place to ride in town or do you have to drive a distance out of the city to find a good place?
If you have photos that would be extra great!

That's awesome, can you share a photo or two of your restoration?

Definitely post some pics.

In an ideal world I'd like a BSA, the factory was a stone's throw away from were I lived as a child but I'm not sure I could cope with the right foot gear change.

Norton Commandos of a certain year (1977?) were updated to left foot but they are so £££££ now. There seem to be quite a few being imported from the US.

It's still running on a 6 volt system right now I'm a big fan of originality and leaving things original

02GF74 - Norton in 1975 & all bikes (I think) standardized to the left foot shifter & it was the first year/last for electric start! IMG_20210702_130009.jpg

Currently in Greece via France, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania. Now waiting for a ferry across to Italy. It’s been glorious. I almost took the vmax but at last minute sorted the oil leak on the Z. Would have preferred the shaft drive though, I’ve been scrubbing sand out of the chain some nights.

Here you go guys all original 1964 BSA with only 5,000 miles it doesn't need a whole lot of restoring matter of fact I may just clean it up and leave it the way it is it runs great two speed transmission
Thanks for posting pics of your 1964 BSA. Two speed like Hi and Low?

I don't think it's high and low it's just a two-speed transmission one and two I guess it could be considered high and low
