+1 on Custom Dynamics products. I use a license plate surround on my FZR1000 and it makes the rear of the bike much-more visible especially on braking.

I have a similar setup I haven't installed for the VMax, and it has orange turn signals as well as the upper & lower running/brake light bars. All on the license plate surround!

I ran some Custom Dynamics led bars on '99 and they needed nothing extra....work good too.

Here's the '86 reflector plate, I took a little more time with this one.

I use brake cleaner and lots of scrubbing. Melts the paint off without scratching the chrome.
