$14k new, 145 HP, 154 top speed, 8K redline, 11.6 quarter mile, smooth and very quik

Compared to $18-$20k new, 170ish top speed, 10k redline, low tens to mid 9's quarter mile, ABS, Fuel Inejction, Huge Forks and Brakes. Basically Yamaha's flagship bike. Likely you will need to chip in a lot of cash plus your bike if anyone decides to trade.

I have a lot of cash. I've seen several '09 Gen2 in the 10K to 12K range. I figure my FJR is worth $4K to $5K.

Gentlemen, after all due consideration I've decided to keep my FJR, I haven't and don't ever expect to have a desire to exceed 154 mph.

Later models of FJR are great machines, but you need to have long enough legs, that can be a real problem.
