I just burned my new V-BOOST MAGAZINE, What crap!

Like the old saying... "don't judge the book by it's cover". A lot of good people took time to submit some great articles.

Dude you don't get it... and probably never will. :jerk it:

Never said anything about the "great articles" just the *** on the cover.

So get it straight

I was going to stay out of this, but decided I had better make a couple of points very, very clear.

1) The VMOA does NOT censor it's members unless an article is an out and out attack on either another member or a vendor.

2) The VMOA does NOT discriminate against ANYONE when producing Vboost.

3) Personal feelings on the part of members towards eachother or a vendor, unless complaints have been filed through the Vendor Coordinator, are NOT a part of the decision making process as far as the cover photo etc. are concerned.

4) Jon Cornell did NOT, I repeat did NOT, pay the VMOA for the cover photo or article. The VMOA is committed to representing both Gen 1 and Gen 2 owners and celebrating their accomplishments. Getting a Gen 2 Vmax into the "8's" is quite an accomplishment and worth celebrating therefore the cover photo and article inside.

I fully understand that there are no small number of VMOA members who despise Jon Cornell and his business practices. That is your right and it is also your right to not buy his products nor do you have to support him in any way. This does not mean that there are others out there who do support Jon and have a voice as well.

Bashing the Vboost magazine because of a cover photo really accomplishes nothing but stir up crap that is really not warranted. If you don't like the cover or an article please contact me or Kelvin Lane with your issues. Nothing can be gained by posting them here.

I agree Jim. I'm not a fan but no matter how he got the bike in the 8's that's a great job (even if he sprayed the hell out of it). Getting a Gen 1 in the 8's is a hell of a lot harder to do so my hat is off to him. That doesn't mean I like him.

I agree it's fine to have him on the cover, and I may well sign back up just to get the story.

But, as a magazine publisher myself, I disagree about squelching discourse on the mag here on the boards. I think it's good to flush it out, and get feedback from customers, good or bad.

As they say, all publicity is good publicity.

I agree that we don't want to squelch discussion about the magazine here. My point is say you don't like it and move on. Ask why he was on the cover and give us a chance to respond. Complaints are fine, when they are stated and then a chance is given to respond.

"Get it straight"... what a tool!:looser:

So my question to the VMOA is, is Jon now a member? In the past he wasn't a member.

I know mine will be tossed if I get one... I don't think I will though...

I applaud him for his accomplishment but my question would be, how many people did he step on to get there?

Jon Cornel is a crook... No doubt in my mind and if he's not a member and he's in the V-boost I think the decision was a poor one.

Just my .02?

Chris

I agree with you Chris,You cant sugar coat ****! in the end its still ****, Im proud to ride the vmax and be a MEMBER but i dont want to see shady vendors on or in our mag. JIM 3933

Come on Jim, stop the BS. I don't really care why he's on the cover. So I am not looking for the OFFICIAL VMOA response.

I just made a personal comment, which the last time I check was aloud in this country. Your not going to censor me...ever.

We all know the history with cornell, and his lack of integrity. And for the VMOA to but him on the cover just says something...and its not positive.

There are so many questions about the "power" additives on that bike that it cheapens any accomplishments he has made. And for you to kiss his *** just makes you look like a ...
