I would like to hear from anyone who is currently running the slashcuts on their max, as to noise levels before I decide to go that route.
Thanks

It's not all about the sound... Also about the person selling them... Just keep that in mind...:deadhorse: That's me...

If the UFO's are too loud, I may go with custom pipes from scrath if reasonably price for the look I want.

Get a set of Mark's pipes if you are looking for a 4-2 setup. I would have sent you to HMF, but they are on sabbatical as to making Vmax exhausts.

They are the loudest, and that is loud.

Have you heard the Kerker with the race baffle? it was the loudest until the new UFO's

And the UFO is not a low tone, it has a higher tone which makes it worse.

If you are at all somewhat concerned about noise, Do not buy the UFO!

You just need to get over the looks and buy what is not obnoxiously loud. I was hung up on buying 4-2 after having the kerker. So I bought the older UFO and I didnt like the sound. I liked the sound of the KERKER more. It took me a while to get over the 4-1, but I kept the kerker and sold the ufo. The ufo does not sound good at all.

Im telling you buy the Marks and select the cans you want. The supertrapp universals. they look similar to stock and sound great. you dont have to use the disks either, or you can, to change the sound.

Just like eating a burrito, Its not always the loudest fart that is the smelliest one. Silent but violent,

Love the sound of my Supertrapps , fullset of
disks. Been given compliments on the sound from
the Hayabusa crowd also.
