Vboost wiring...

My bike has Vboost wired to a switch and I want to go back to stock. I am assuming the grey wires in this pic that are hooked up to the red and black (the switch) just need to be reconnected to each other? One of them has constant power with ignition on, and the other has power when the switch is off, then loses power when it is switched on.

Suggest you invest in a Manual or download a wiring diagram which will show how the OE loom is connected.

The only wiring diagram I was finding was the 90-93, which did not have a grey wire; I just found the 85-89 and it shows the grey wire in question...

The factory manual has a gray wire in the VMX12E-12EC appendix which came out in '92. It goes to yellow.
