Looks really clean and original!
Low miles for 25 years old. Is this the one that got a carb soaking recently?
Yes it is that one. I had to replace the gas tank, after it fouled the carbs repeatedly. I installed a sintered-bronze replaceable/cleanable gas filter too, and that took-care of the carbs.
It just needs detailing now, the mechancials are squared-away. This would be a good bike for someone who doesn't have the mechanical skills to do much, but who would be willing to spend the time to polish and to touch-up pieces. The clear-coat has lifted in places, so some paint remover to strip the lacquer, a bit of polishing and another clear-coat of lacquer, and it would look like it's just-off the showroom floor. It still has the full toolkit under the seat.
It appears that a prior owner drilled-out the stock megaphone end caps, and perhaps drilled some holes beneath it, and then used big-head aluminum rivets to re-fasten the chrome plates to the ends of the megaphones. It has a bit-louder 'rumble,' but it definitely isn't in the category of "aurally-irresponsible." Stone-stock, other than that. It runs well, rides well, idles nicely, and has no hesitation on throttling-up. The VBoost works as-intended, and with two new Shinkos and a new battery, and the carbs cleaned, brakes and clutch serviced/replaced where needed, fluids changed and bled, it's time for a new owner's butt in the seat.
