What-about trikes? The Can Am's are pretty-cool. I have two friends from the fire dept, fellow retirees, riding trikes, though they are on H-D's.
The KTM's are fun to watch run, they had a short asphalt course set-up at Daytona Bike Week last year, and they were giving people rides where the pilots were just lighting it up doing broadslides continuously, left and right.
