Traded a 1992 Cbr f2 I had fixed up for mine I had $662 in the Cbr vmax is 1995 32,000 miles bad third gear when I bought it didn't work at all now it works until 95% throttle will repair over the winter

bought mine for $500, 2 weeks before deploying to Afghanistan for 8 months in August 2012. it is a 2001, Japanese spec that had 10,000 km on the speedo and had sat untouched for 18 months. during the eight month deployment I found this awesome forum, met Sean Morley over the forum and email and just scratched the surface of my now obsession with my max. i dont have the pic on my tablet from when I first picked it up but after just over 2 years of ownership, this is how she looks right now.

• Spent a lot of time left outside, as tank/fender was faded from sun, probably wasn't well cared for.
• Had new rear tire, but, bald front tire, needed carbs cleaned.
