Vmax shuts down

My vmax 1700, sometimes shuts down in front of a traffic light,
Especially on a hot day….
Any know what can be the problem?

Does it restart? Does the bike have fuel? Is the kickstand dropping slightly due to a weak spring?

Yes it restart easily. There is enough fuel.
It is turning off while still rolling.
When I slow down and want to switch to lower gear it is already turning of. When I play with the gas I can keep it turning.
But it it’s not every time .

I presume no Check Engine Light either. I would pull any codes that might be stored. Give you a starting point.

When the bike runs normally, what is the RPM at idle? When it begins acting up, what is the RPM? What year is your VMax? 2009? If that is the case, there was a TPS wire recall on it. If it isnt, maybe there is a sync issue with the throttle bodies.

I had the same thing. It turned out to be a faulty clutch switch. Check that and go from there
