The auto industry is going through some big changes.
Ford is killing-off cars to concentrate on trucks/SUV's. Oh, they'll still sell the Mustang; no Fusion, no Fiesta, no Taurus. Taurus was the #1 selling car for much of the 1990's in the USA. It reminds me of how in the 1970's the Oldsmobile Cutlass was the #1 selling car, and now, you'd be hard-pressed to find an Olds of any kind in a junkyard.
