What did you do to your Vmax today? Part 2

Saw some nice hard luggage on a VMax at Thunder in the Highlands in Nova Scotia. The Max went by so fast I didn't see a name brand on the luggage but it looked like it was made for that Max...very nice!

Yesterday I received my HID kit for my 05 vmax.....3 hours later, it was all wired up cleanly and looks awesome! BTW, this is on the stock OEM headlight too with a slim ballast, 55w, 6k Hi/Lo bulb. Cant wait to get it out in the dark and see how much brighter it is from the old Xenon 90/100watt bulb.

I pulled out the bike and washed and waxed it and then polished the scoops and covers.
Got a big day tomorrow and the bike has to be picture worthy :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

fitted a kerker oval sportbike style muffler to my kerker header. It might be too long. May chop it down.

put on my newly black P/C fly screen on V1.....now have to get the bars/risers/instrument cover/speedo cover also done.....gotta love the MM

Yo Tugla, what a great idea to P/C the windscreen frame! No more polishing and bugs come right off! A little chrome is a good thing unless you are going for the "Goth" look in that case, send us some pictures when you get your balls pierced!

got the idea to p/c it from garrett, thanks man see what you started, he did the singarm covers for me in satin/flat black.

I got this one from your buddy, great guy and I got a bunch out with sean that should be coming back here soon. gonna be sending a bunch more parts in winter from the bikes.


also just put in the red led lights for the instruments, had to wait til after 11pm for a good dark shot.

no its still metal color but gonna get it done this winter, along with a bunch of other parts on and around the handle bars. looks too far off now so black it goes. he did the fly screen frame for me. got another one out with sean for V2

well thats my one item i learned today so no more learning for me hahahah. thought you meant the cover over the rpm/water gauges. which i want to color black, think on the 02 and later they are all black, or somewhere around there.

I was referring to the instrument lights.....the red ones, right behind the instrument cowl, I like them. :biglaugh:

its real easy to read, want to try blue lights and see how that looks at night. not that we get that much night driving up here but got another set for V2 i will do later on(red ones)

can even slightly see the red in day light weird cause its not too bright at night, just the right glow.

Hey Danny,

You need to get some HID setup on your bike. I just did mine for about $40 with a 55w Hi/Lo 6000k color and its SUPER SUPER SUPER......Did I say SUPER bright? Going to test ride it in the morning but my garage is like daylight with it powered up!
