Finished installing my IXIL Hyperflow muffler.
I found out how fast the heat will leave my garage with the door open at -45deg. :rofl_200:

I'm now on the rich side, but I'm not going to worry about that until riding season starts. But, now you'll get an idea of how the archangel sounds. :punk:
Turn it up!!!

Struth! That's too loud for me to play at work, I'll have to give it a go at home. :biglaugh: Sounds sweet.

As the Newfies would say..........

LARD T'UNDERIN' JESUS, BUY!
DEM'S SUM LOUD PUYPES!

HOW MANY DB'S YA GOT GOIN' ON DAR, BUY????????:ummm:

LOL,

I don't know about the Db's. Its quieter than open pipes. definitely smoother sounding. The set I have is the same one on this bike. I just ordered the CB1000R one cause it looked like it had the right angle for it to line up.

They zoom when they're on a sport bike, but ROAR on the Vmax. Here is the comparison video. :biglaugh:

I like it alot KJ. A+++ Good job. I need to here it again.

@kj you never cease to amaze me! DAYUM!

Ahh thank ya, but I can't take all the credit.
I was going to do a similar looking setup, then Sean pointed me to this bad boy. It cost me a few extra coin to get it shipped from across the pond, but I couldn't be happier with it. 3 more months, and I'll be able to give a ride report :rofl_200:

KJ. thoroughly impressed with the sound and the look my friend. it doesn't actually sound 'that loud' but so hard to tell thru a video. how does it compare to the kerker comp baffle?

are you planning on leaving the headers as-is? it looks good but i could see you either coating them black or covering them of sorts between where the belly pan ends and the muffler begins.

It has a more aggressive sound than the Kerker's comp baffle, but it seems smoother. That's about how it's going to be, except I'm going to change the clamp to the Kerker pipe. The 4" midpipe is painted with VHT's 2000deg flat black paint. That's about it, it brakes up the chrome of the Kerker and the stainless of the IXIL nicely. I couldn't in good conscious paint over that IXIL, the work on it is just too nice to cover up.

OK, cranked it at home.... and I love them! :punk:

I think I finally have the sound I was looking for. The flow is nice. One I adjust the carbs and lean it out a bit, I think it will only get better.

I ordered all the needed parts to put mine back to what it was before the drop...I do still however want/need a set of nice usable matching mirrors if anyone can help. Oh!! I am also going to call Sean tomorrow or the next day for the other stuff.
