Got a new front fender sold by NP Racing, bike is going in for paint Friday, hope to have it back together Sunday night just in time for Thunder. No more blue for this kid, goin old/new school muscle car with Dodge Copperhead orange w/flat black stripes. Then gonna order my seat from Sean after Thunder:biglaugh:
I never thought I was much of a fan of the color orange until I saw the new dodge with that color scheme. I can't wait to see how it turns out! :punk:

I will post some before/during/after pics in the gallery once I get done. After PMing back and forth with Sean I think the seat idea he has is going to look awesome on the bike. Look forward to ordering after I get back from Thunder!!!!!!:punk:

Threw together a braced swingarm. Had to build and coat in a hurry! Still came out very good. Should clear the Kerker for the bike it was built for.

Got my 1500 fired up yesterday. Will try and get the chrome diff put together this evening and go break in the engine.

Finished up another friends Vmax. Will have it at the dyno Sun. Turned out very nice.

Sean

I'm liking the checkerboard shoes Sean...:eusa_dance:

Looks awesome! It's something I should probably do but can't be asked to bother with it right now.

Got back from lunch and decided to drill 9/16" holes in the inner baffle plates of the Cobras. I'm tired of it running rich. Hopefully that will let it breathe better and lean itself out a bit.

Haven't had time to mess with it but may be hooking up with someone very soon (maybe very very soon) who can build them for me (and I even think I found a very good driveshaft suppplier).

yea, been wearing vans for a long time. Got a few sets - wear about 1-2 sets out a year.

Plz keep me in the loop as I need to get one to keep the front wheel on the ground:biglaugh: BTW: The Vans just brought back some memories of the 80's, parachute pants, mullets, leather jackets with zippers everywhere.....OMG its all coming back NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO:rofl_200:

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. Sean? you don't have any multi-zippered Jackets do ya?:rofl_200: I'm interested in a +3 swingarm for a 200 as well. I'll hold off on rims til ya get things together.

Back on topic: Ordered new wave rotors for the front this morning. I liked the way they looked on Chris' bike.

Just took of the Kerker can on my 4-2-1 exhaust and put on a Scorpion can on that I had sitting around. Much deeper sound - going for a ride to try it out!

Mike

Transfered the registration to the new ( to me ) bike and fueled up ( again ). looks like i'm getting roughly 40 mpg ( 6 L/100km where i'm at ).

I changed the engine oil, rear differential oil and the fuel filter. Ran into a lot of bugs last night at dusk as I was riding home on the lakeshore drive. That took a while to clean up but looks good now.
Parked Redbone in the garage cuz ima a-going honky tonkn' tonight . :punk:

Just came back from a 350 mile ride - Sun, thunderstorm, lightning, heavy winds, sun, rain, sun, than when the sun went down, bugs & more bugs - happy to say the Scorpion can sounds good and it didn't fall off :eusa_dance:
