I'm a video operations engineer at the Intelsat Atlanta teleport. The company I work for owns about 55 satellites world wide. My job is to watch a bunch of full time services and set up occasional use services in the teleport as well as perform maintenence on the associated equipment.. We have about 120 high power amplifiers and 40 antennas ranging in size from 3 meter to 18 meter.
Been doing this for about 8 years. Before that I overhauled nuc subs, mainly weapons handling/launch systems
layed off like Sheldontoxicman .....anyone in my area care to point me in the direction of employment??

Currently I am a Radiation Protection Supervisor for a major electrical generating utility. Looking at changing jobs within the company, but my training is pretty focused in RP.
Run a import freezer for a meat company here , we are doing it tuff at the mo as know one is buying and with the $ so low its costing alot more as the majority comes from Canada . NZ is just not big enuff to supply the market .
I'm a medic in the Army. I'm serving in Central America right now, lots of meetings and lots of travel. Next month will be 5 years in for me. Hard to think that in 15 years I can retire at the ripe age of 42.
Auto mechanic for 8 years(dealerships and independent), currently heavy equipment mechanic/ welder at a coal mine. Still do cars, bikes, atvs, etc on the side at my brother-in-laws shop.
South of the quad cities (Iowa border in Il.) Just took a great ride up through northern Ia, into Wisconsin, and back. 600 mile ride that was pretty kick ass aside from the last day, 130 miles of 50 degree temps in the rain!!!!!!!!:bang head::bang head::bang head:
