Sorry to hijack but had anyone removed the factory painted pin stripes?

Mine is 7mm wide and came with an applicator, I think something thinner like 1/8" wide is what I want.

I just measured the factory stripe on my rear wheel, and it was 4.5 mm.

Thanks Eric, that is probably why I like the thinner lines since I am a big fan of the looks of the '05 bike.

I looked into it and don't think it's a good idea. Instead I put black stripes over the factory red stripes. Worked great.
