The Kerker with comp baffle is stupid loud but sounds good too.:worthy:

I wanna stick with a 4-2 setup. I'd be making a sacrifice with UFO's Dragster only being a 4-1 but I'm curious if UFO's 4-4 exhaust will give me the same sound as would the dragster.
The UFO 4-4 exhaust is very rare to find on a bike to know what it sounds like.

Yeah, instant-headache loud. Frosty and I saw him go by in Topeka and everyone was watching him.

I think the 4-2 set ups are ugly, even stock. I've never been a fan of two cans on a motorcycle, doesn't matter the brand. The only thing that should have two pipes IMO are V-Twins and even 2-1 set ups look better IMO a lot of the time.

Just my opinion though. I liked my Hindle Header on my '93. It was a member of the 120+ club.

Yeah call me crazy but I dig the double can setup. I maybe's it's just because I've always had 2-1 exhausts on every bike I've had. WHo knows.

Dustin, that was the old style hindle header right? That's probably the best header to have for a Vmax. I believe Hindle stopped making those because of clearance issues.

Yeah I believe it was, and if I have a chance to buy my bike back from my father in law I will haha.

Here's a decent shot of how low it hung on a lowered bike. Haha this is an older pic, before I really started doing anything to it!

Hard to see I guess in this more recent photo of me rolling down the road

I totally dig the two cans... It looks more balanced and meaner... Thus why I had an SV1000S, and now a Max... Looks balanced.

Wheelies on the VMAX are as much fun and exciting as topping one out.

I had my front end strapped down for the past 5-6 yrs until I got tired of having my teeth rattled if I hit a bottle cap in the road!
Since than, forget about burnouts!
Power Wheelie starts at around 8K
Clutch slipping front end lifts at 15MPH
Any speed over 25 and letting off the gas and stabbing it will raise it up.
I almost flipped it last weekend going past the APEX point, (Getting cooler out and air is thinner making more HP)
I can wheelie 1st into 2nd up to 70-75 MPH with a success percentage of 30% of the time, (WARNING THIS WILL CAUSE PREMATURE CRANKSHAFT FAILURES) as I said its not fun, it has to be up in 10:30 11:00 postion to keep it going shifting 2nd. If you try this keep that foot on the brake it feels as its going to flip. The higher you get the easier it is.
With a passenger on the back it will begin to power wheelie at 35.

is that while you're spraying? Or do you hit the bottle above a specific RPM?

I LOVE the sound of the Kerker though!

I have the Kerker 4-1 and yes its loud but its like a lover wispering your name in your ear. Just simply one of the sweetest sounds around.

So today I unplugged my V-boost.....and holy **** I almost flipped my bike backwards!
I cracked on the throttle at around 15mph in 1st gear and stood the damn thing straight up. Scared the **** out of me so I dropped off the throttle, front end slammed down to the ground and I racked my nuts on the airbox cover. Damn that hurt....but I can wheelie now!!!

What the hell does a single can or a dual can have to do with this post of wheelies? :ummm:

What is the elevation where the bike is located?

I live in Ridgetop, TN which is up in on a ridge. Most of Nashville, TN is 500FT above sea level, the track I race at which is 3 miles from house is around 850-950 FT above sea level, not great air here until October, humid as hell.
