which one of these is right?

Hey guys(& gals) any of you know which of these rear frame rails is right:ummm:,or could there be this much variance between frames.Im talking about the angle at the very end. And as long as were there is the spread in this area the same on all the 1st gen maxes.by spread i mean the distance betweeen "Posts" when lokking down?

Usually the posts are the same distance apart on all the bikes with it just barely letting the rail fit over it. Look at the base of the welded on extension to see if either one is showing rust on that area. It will let you know which one is bent usually.

what about the angle? the black frame ,the tail section is flat, the gray frames tail section appears to be angled down a little.which is right?

Put the seat set on it. That will get a better guage of what is going on.

its not a question of whats going on, its a question of are they all the same ,or are they suppose to be the same, and if they are supposed to be the same which one one these is right?
 
I understand but can't remember which one is right. They should be parrallel but the end stubs are just cheaply welded on and easily bent.
