I'm just an everyday guy, not in law enforcement and speaking from 10 years of carrying concealed handguns I look at it this way, a small caliber gun on your person is better then a large caliber gun in your safe. With a larger caliber gun comes a larger frame and more weight, with my personal experience you tend to not want to carry a bulky heavier gun everyday. With a smaller, lighter gun you are more likely to carry it more often. It makes perfect sense for law enforcement to carry the larger caliber, their job puts them into a whole different hazard class then the average citizen, and they don't need to keep it out of sight like the average citizen so the bulkier size isn't an issue. When it comes to stopping power obviously larger is better, I can assure you if you shoot me at close range with a small caliber like a .32, .38, hell even a .22 I'm stopping :rofl_200: Just another view on concealed carry and just my opinion.
