If it wasn't for my vmax and joining the VMOA I wouldn't have ever joined this forum either and met alot of really cool people:punk:

Its kind of a toss up for me i dont know if i enjoy the Ufo rants or the VMOA more!!!!!!!

Well yeah... I should add that I don't give two ***** unless they steal money from me... :bang head: Jon got what he had coming... I took more than the 600 that he took from me... Now THERE is a dirt ball...

The VMOA isn't a dictatorship so they allow "Guest" posts and anyone to read them. They don't allow non-members to access other member info as well as attachments like the service manual that is LEGALLY allowed on just that site (other sites have it but not legally).

Reading posts was the one free or open feature I thought? As far as the demise of the VMOA goes, it may happen but I don't see it happening any time soon. Every Club has it's ups and downs in popularity and membership. Often times it is a financial movement, some things are fads. Can't see a 25 year old motorcycle being a fad, do you? I thinks Nobody's rants are great entertainment and almost worth the price of a VMOA membership. If he put out a quarterly magazine he could could start his own Club! I can't see letting one mans opinion get on anyone's nerves. If he does, you might be a bit thin skinned or overly sensitive. I'm glad Buster let's the guy post. We all need a good laugh once in a while.

Does all this mean Nobody is really Nobody?:ummm:
Whoever he may be, I hope he has Somebody.
He adds variety to the normal posts anyway.

I agree on the entertainment, this post alone has 424 views in less then two days :rofl_200:

Can't help but wonder why this thread wasn't also posted on the VMOA site....just saying....:ummm:
It was posted on the VMOA site but it was yrs. ago !!. He had done wrong by people over there clear back in 2000 . he claims that he gets his info from "A Good Friend" on the VMOA site then answers the people that complain about him . This is total B.S. because I e-mailed him for 6 months with no reply , called 3 times a day with no return call and even drove to his shop 9 times without a heads up that I was coming and still he never answered the door. Claims he was out dragracing to make his living but when I was there in the winter months it is kinda hard to drag race bikes in the winter and all the lights at his place were on . Sorry about the rant just the thought of the guy makes me want to go and do something that I would regret doing. Later K.C.

:ummm: I was referring to this whole thread....why didn't it originate on the VMOA site?

I now see that Nobody/Somebody/Whoever is no longer a member....thanks Chris & Jim for clearing that up. :punk:

The VMOA and or site may not survive . So what ? It has saved me more $ with tips , advice , vendor referrals, etc. than it has cost me in dues. V-Boost magazine is better than no magazine. Their site ( for me ) is difficult to post pics , so I don't post pics. Their site is not as entertaining or informative as this one. I belong to both and feel comfortable with both. But it's the people that make a site or club. I like all on both sites. Characters welcome. Opinions welcome. The V-Max will be somewhere , no matter where. It's the bike stupid. :punk:

Nicely put,:clapping: that?s pretty much my feelings as well. As far as the magazine goes I would rather them just post it on the site and I would read it online and they could save all that money it cost to publish and ship it. At least give members like me the option not to have the paper copy sent to save them some money. As you stated, it?s all about the Vmax!
