No doubt. Unfortunately it is looking like a problem still exists with the master cyl. I let a buddy take it for a spin after me and he came back with an issue. The bushing that has the hole in it for the push rod some how dropped out a little and the push rod was no longer in the bushing. Also...
Well I hope you make master...I didn't so I am out. Missed it by less than 3 points two years running now. Even if I make it next year I will not be staying in.
Hopefully this works. I think I am going to go out and try it in a few minutes. Great thing about being in maintenance is the access...
A little background to help understand my problem. I finally get the max running great after the PO let it sit FOREVER. After about a thousand miles or so the clutch master cylinder started leaking behind trhe plunger. I bought the rebuild kit. I removed the master cyl and cleaned/rebuilt it...
OK...well, nevermind. I went out and started the bike after it had been sitting for a little while and the light did not come on. I believe it may have taken a little for the bike to register the oil level since I left it overnight with no oil. I had to reseal the clutch cover since it was...
This one confuses me. I have changed the oil on this bike twice prior to today and have not had a light issue. Today I change the oil and put in 10w40 instead of the 10w30 since it is getting warmer around here. With the 10w40 the oil light is on when I start the bike. I have checked and...
That's not a bad idea. We'll see what happens. At least I have lights now though. Before the PO had nothing, he'd been running it that way for 4 years...not right but I guess he got lucky or never rode at night.
I got my mirrors in last night. It took a little longer than i'd hoped but no biggie. They look awesome and I can't wait to install them. Unfortunately that will have to wait since I am having a custom backrest made and my "tins" painted satin black AND I am moving this weekend. Busy busy!
