Anyone have issues burning out coils if the bike sits in the rain (or you're washing the bike). I had a set of used R6 coils, and I'm down to two now, as the other two started to arc after it sat in some heavy-ish rain. Not sure if it's the water that's making them go bad or just coincidence.

Hey, Does anyone know what signal the OEM coil puts out for the vboost controller? It's on the grey wire. I've checked it out on the diagrams but don't know what the actual signal is. I'm assuming its a square +12v pulse but not sure. Also interested if it's 1ppr or different? Cheers

Hi all, what is the stock coil ohm size? Have any 1 install / used dyna coils on there vmax? How / were on the bike they was install? Have any 1 install the dyna coils that take dual spark plug wires if so what model coils and location on the vmax there was install. Thanks for your help.

hi, My rear ignition coils resistance are 3.5 and 3.6 ohm. the manual says it is supposed to be 2.7 +/- 10%. I have no idea if that is bad, ok, or good. Is that ok? should I be worried.? oh btw, the resistance on the secondary are according to spec at 13k ohm. Thanks regards,

Hi Guys n Girls, Well my 97 max has died no spark and i have traced the fault to a faulty pickup coil. Simple , but over here in the UK a replacment is over $300. Seems a lot of money for a pickup. Anybody got an alternative replacment ? Thanks
