I bought 4 used sticks on Ebay a few years ago. They were Denso sticks. I bought a set of connectors from a Honda 600, cut the connectors off my existing coils, and soldered up 4 connector wires. I gave no thought to the polarity of the wires, as they are just connecting a coil, which probbly doesnt care what way the trigger current goes through it. I made these before anyone thought of adding resistors to the setup, and never did. Results? The bike started immediately, and has never missed a beat due to ignition issues. My bike is an '85, with high mileage. Total cost to do the conversion was about $25.00.
