blinker switch

On the left handlebar control-- Are the blinkers self cancelling when you push the button in?
Or do you have to manually push it back where it was like i have to:ummm:?

From what I remember the blinkers are self canceling but after a certain amount of distance or time.

Push straight in will cancel. Also push back past center.

+1, sometimes I think they aren't working. They don't cancel as fast as your car..

According to the owners handbook they will cancel after approx. 150m (490 ft) or 15 seconds and will only do this while the bike is moving.

To cancel before the above push in once the switch has returned to the central position.

That's what i thought- i push it in and i does nothing. It also feels like it is doing nothing- i have to push it back.
On most bikes i have had i usually feel a click when i push it in.- Mine must be worn out.

You don't feel a click as such more of a bit of resistance as (I assume) it resets the contacts.
