Took off the cover- she fired right up! Great riding today. Ate a Harley for lunch and got $200 for doing it!

(neighbor has been "building "his sportster 1200 over the winter, and now that its "over 1300 cc", he bet me on a drag race.)

I made it thru the winter, and can ride again! I'm beating there are a few other Michigan guys that got out this weekend to.

Craig you would be right. I put 49 miles on my bike and i here 2 of our great hooligan friends in gr area hve put over 100 miles. Nice job on eating a haley for lunch but you shoudent be eating all that junk. But you did get $200 out of it. :punk:

Man Todd sure is quit lately. Im thinking we need to pay him a visit without telling him and see what he's up to. :biglaugh:

Glad to see you got out Craig!!...........It was a beautifull day for riding!.........I shot some GoPro vid, as soon as I get my computer straightened out I will get it downloaded................Tom.

"There's no replacement for displacement." - A fool and his money.

Those 1200's are nice bikes for what they are, but what they aren't is anything close to a drag bike. Easy money there :rofl_200:

Tom dont you mean as soon as your wife gets it straightened out. Make sure you tell here thanks in advance from all of us for posting the video. :rofl_200:

Not a MI rider but did manage to get two 50 mile rides in over here in New York...one on the '96 and one on the 1260....it felt great! The roads weren't all cluttered up with Harley's yet and only had one bug commit suicide on my faceshield. :thumbs up:

The guy was willing to put $200 down on that race....WOW! :surprise:

I got in about 50 Miles yesterday in Western NY as well.
That was my second ride this season.
I'd go out today but it is supposed to rain and I have family obligations.

It was a good ride... :punk: Lee and Bee tried to keep up... :rofl_200:

Once Lee gets a Metz he will be joining the tire grilling club. :punk:

After we get lee to join we will have enough tires to get paid by the state for recoating the blacktop.:biglaugh:

I agree... He was doing really well I think with the Dunbrick on the back. He gets a metz and the smoke will fly!!!

Hey Mike you quiet that beast of yours down yet?? It LOUD!!!

Rode mine for about 20 miles yesterday, then came home and changed oil and gear oil in the differential and both still looked great.. Just waiting on my paint guy to buff out my new paint and put the badges back on the tank lid and the Yamaha decal back on the rear fender and she's done...
