I recently fitted a set, you can see how they look if you peruse my vast gallery of pictures here on this forum http://www.vmaxforum.net/album.php?albumid=498 fraid i havn't had a chance to ride & see if they make any difference yet, still bits and pieces to finish off, I already had solid motor mounts fitted which certainly made a difference.

sure would be easier than motor mounts all the way around.

The ones "exactrep" sell are not meant for use with solid mounts, they can of course be used with solid mounts, but some of the bolts they supply are not long enough if you have solid mounts fitted.

The solid mounts are the same parts as the rubber and use the same bolts. not sure what you are saying about bolt length not being long enough.

Sorry for confusion, OP linked to "exactrep' Strengthening Plates, these are purchased complete with nuts, bolts & spacers, the 10mm bolts supplied are too short if you have solid mounts previously installed.
Don't the solid mounts come with new longer bolts? can't rememeber now.

shouldn't make a difference with solid mounts. If they were longer than the OE ones the engine wouldn't fit back into the frame.

^ & ^^, Yes, I'm wrong, a small brain, old age & a lifetime of drinking too much beer dont help! They must have sent the wrong size bolts with the plates! I made the wrong "ass umption!
