don't have any criticism for u there my friend.

Looks like the plastic bag trick. Well executed!

Sent from my iPad using special algorithms and data nodes.

I like the effect - nice!

The only things I would do if it were my bike would be to change the side panels for an aftermarket item and put the Yameringha logo's back on the faux tank.

Executed with taste. :rofl_200:

Very nice! I go along with MaxMidnight, the sidecovers need just a little more....either aftermarket or oem but the entire sidecover should be painted. IMO

I really like the effect tho, would like to see it in the sun! :clapping:

Different and unique , I like it for its ability to stand out...whats it look like in the sun ?

Very unique . No critic here either . How about a write up on how it was done ?

I wish I would of taken pictures. Here is a short version...

Sanded pieces with 400 grit to prep for paint.
Sprayed a base coat of Black Pearl.
Let dry for 15 min.
Sprayed light coat of Marblizer.
VERY quickly streched a trash bag over painted piece.
Blow on trash bag to get a un-uniform pattern.
Wait 10 seconds and pull bag off.
Bloch areas that are too thick to give it depth.
Let dry for 20 mins.
Sprayed fast drying clear coat. 15 min
Installed parts!

Damn nice, especially since you did it yourself! I like the two tone side covers, why didn't you do the bottom of the scoops as well?

I was actually going to post a question regarding the scoops. On both sides it appears the clear coat is peeling off. Do most people sand the rest of the clear coat off? If so does the metal below need to be re polished before clear coating?

just use aircraft stripper that is safe for alluminum and CLEAN them real well with a dish detergent and then alcohol, or wipe them with pre-cleano (dupont) and then re-clear them, your paint looks amazing !:punk:

Now that I know how it was done and extremely fast... Frigging Unbelievable Results.:clapping:
