I own a V65... The 83 model which is the best one to compare with the Max... I rode my buddies Max and yes... Its got balls of steel and goes like hell. The V65 will keep up no problem until about 3rd gear then the Max pulls on it pretty well. Normally from a low speed roll to about 110 the max...

Mines pretty good... Matches my fellow Vmaxxers speedo pretty well.. Guess it depends on the bike? And mine being the 83 has plenty of go to it.

2fear vs. Vmouth Mike... Well Mike does have the V-Mouth option which is pretty bad ass. But 2fear actually knows how to ride a bike... It'll be close... ROFLMAO!!!

Some good runs there Mike... Maybe a bit more slipping the clutch on the launches to keep the rpm up and momentum going? I honestly don't know... Just a suggestion to help with your 60' times. I know the max can do way better than a 1.8 60'
