Just wondering how many of you guys run your max without the airbox cover and if you see any or no difference in the way it runs. I bought my 93 a few weeks ago and the airbox cover was not installed. Is it a big deal or not. Thanks (pic below)

Awhile back I got help identifying the clutch bleed screw and was told that there was normally a cover over it. Today I finally paid the ridiculous price of $21.00 for the screw and rubber cover (they don't sell just the cover). I can't figure out how this should go on. It looks simple but...

1. Hate the OEM fugly nut. 2. Replace the nut with a Nylock nut and use the stainless stealth cover and lock it into position.

I am trying to replace the valve cover gasket on the front valve and I am having trouble removing the cover after it has been unbolted...is there a trick? It seems as though theres not enough room without taking out the radiator and hoses.

hi, I pulled the alternator cover off, and what looks like an oil slinger fell out. it looks like a large thin washer with a small collar around the hole. can't find it in the manual. anyone know where it goes, and what direction it faces? thanks in advance.

Does anyone have a good place to buy OEM replacement parts? I'm looking at $25.00 for a valve cover gasket which is fine, I guess. But the rubber mounts are $7-$8 ea times 16...YIKES!!.......Is there a trick to refurbishing them maybe?? TIA.

What is the difference between the side covers made for the 1985 - 1995 Vmax and the 1996- 2007 Vmax? I need to purchase a pair but all I've found used so far is for the 1996 - 2007 models. I did notice a slight difference in the part numbers (first 3 digits of part number are different) Thanks.
